What can Morpheus8 for Body do?
Microneedling uses fine needles to create micro-injuries to the skin to encourage the healing process and natural collagen production which helps the skin appear tighter, refreshed, and rejuvenated. Traditional microneedling can only reach a skin depth of 1.5 to 2 millimeters, but Morpheus8 can target a deeper area depending on the skin concerns and can be adjusted to anywhere from 0.5 millimeters to 8 millimeters deep. This allows more contouring of the unwanted fat underneath the skin’s surface, along with treating superficial skin concerns. Because of this flexibility, Morpheus8 can comprehensively treat your entire face in one session.

At the time of your treatment, we take all precautions to provide a safe and sterile environment for your well-being. Typically, a topical numbing is sufficient to help minimize any discomfort, however, we will discuss pain management concerns and provide alternative options if needed. The numbing cream is applied to a fresh face about 30-45 before the therapy begins. During the procedure, a handheld device will be carefully pressed into the skin, allowing the microneedles to create tiny punctures in the skin. At the same time, the device generates radiofrequency (RF) waves to reconstruct the layers beneath the skin’s surface. Most sessions last 30 minutes to an hour, depending on the size of the area you are receiving treatment.
Immediately after treatment, you may experience some mild redness and swelling, which typically diminishes after 2-3 days. Your skin may look like and feel like you have a moderate sunburn, and it is best to avoid exercising or strenuous activities for the first 24 hours. It is also recommended to avoid makeup for 48 hours post-treatment, avoid direct sunlight, and apply sunscreen frequently. We will provide detailed aftercare instructions to help ensure ideal results. You will see improvement in your skin within the first 2-3 weeks, and as your skin’s collagen production continues, continued improvement will be achieved in approximately a month after treatment.
